The BTMK Fun Run - Entry Fee £

The Next BTMK Fun run is on Sunday 13th June 2010 at 10.15am
Held at East Beach, Shoeburyness, Essex

The race is aproximately 3 kms and everyone is welcome - adults and children.
You dont have to run, you can walk - push pushchairs and even bring your dog!

Please ask friends and family to sponsor you using the attached form and help raise vital funds for the hospice.

This years Southend 10k Classic will be the 26th In the series of classic road races hosted by Southend-on-Sea Athletic Club. We are greatful for the support of the Southend Borough Council and Southend Police for help in planning the race on Southend's roads. For Safety reasons PERSONAL STERIO'S/MP3 Players MUST NOT be used on the public roads by runners as whilst the road is hopefully traffic free this cannot be guaranteed as some motorist's vehicles inevitably get trapped on the course.

PLEASE NOTE - NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED ON THE DAY and AFFILIATED ATHLETES MUST PROVIDE THEIR UKA REGISTRATION NUMBER TO QUALIFY FOR THE REDUCED ENTRY FEE.

Southend Classic
Road race - 10,000 meters, accurately measured, starting at 10.30 a.m.
Open to all runners.
Entry fee £12 for runners affiliated to UK Athletics WITH REGISTRATION NUMBER; £14 for unattached runners.

Children's Fun Run

Open to children ages 11 - 14 years on the day of race. Entry fee £5
The course is approx 3,000 metres but cannot be accurately measured as it is subject to police restrictions concerning the "turn round" point on the road which may change due to local traffic conditions. However, the course will be traffic free.
